A Journey with Meditation

When anyone spends nearly a life time with something they love, which has carried them through challenges that helped to reveal their real beauty of self, eventually there comes a time when you would want to share that secret, that we are The Love. This is why I teach meditation.

After years of travelling to sacred temples, sitting with many holy teachers, male and female, I now help others begin their journey as well as continue mine.

The design of these mindfulness meditation workshops are based on simplifying and demystifying the processes, helping the practitioner to decide which methods are comfortable, ultimately making it easy to practice.

In recent decades, there has been a huge amount of research pointing to the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation. The scientists analyse the benefits by examining the mind and its changes before and after. As usual positive findings generate a growth of skeptics yet despite this contradiction, both sides of the research evidence agree on 3 points.

That meditation has a positive effect on:

• Easing depression and low moods

• Reducing anxiety and panic attacks

• Eases chronic pain

Our habits and thought patterns dictate our perception of suffering so learning to change what and how we give attention to will draw power and strength to this new thought and create new belief patterns. Meditation is a journey of connecting with self and the benefits gradually manifest mentally, emotionally and physically. Lifestyle and its demands can present challenges to finding the quietness to start to still the mind, lest we wake up?!

The beauty of solitude and quietness is a stillness that generates creativity, healing and the potential to gain connection to self. It is just like the seed that lies in the quietness of the soil, fully potent of life. A meditation practice will help develop a mental stillness which will allow awareness of the real self to shine. Life is supposed to be easy and understanding why it isn’t and how to make it so is important. Meditation will help to sift, sort and bring clarity through its practice.

The Workshops

Combining Psycho-therapeutic and NLP training along with my experience as a meditation teacher to design this workshop to help make the varying paths of meditation easier to understand and practice. All the differing paths have equal respect and I have used them all at different times so for those that are inquisitive and searching or love the collective energy then this workshop will address both needs.

The additional material on positive lifestyle and nutritional changes will deliver a personalised aspect to the workshops. All geared to leaving participants with the confidence to practice a more positive and empowering way of living.

The Sunday sessions aim to demystify the different routes and provide an introduction and practice of the main ones. Classes will cover:

Chakras, Visualisation Techniques, Breathing Practices, Grounding, Posture, Sound and Mantras

The benefits and aims are many and will include learning how to stop overthinking, reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep patterns, letting go of resistance, feel more positive mood & confidence. Your mind will be more focused, emotions more balanced and physically you will be able to release tensions and stresses much easier. From the first session your body, mind and emotions will begin to thank you for taking the time to feel relaxed, replenished and rejuvenated for the week ahead.
